How this works

From satellite to sentence

  1. Public satellites and weather models publish data.
  2. We fetch it and put it on a common map grid.
  3. We calculate indices — dryness, heat, vegetation moisture.
  4. We combine those into one conclusion for a place.
  5. We show the conclusion, with the reasons and the sources.

Why this is not "live"

Satellites orbit. A given place is only observed when one passes over, which for fire detection is a handful of times a day. Every figure here therefore carries the time it was observed, and you should read that time.

No figure on this platform is produced by a language model.
